Out in the world

Two changes you will run into without looking for them.

Rare spawns are worth the detour

339 of the older rare spawns, the silver dragons on your target frame, have new loot. There is nothing to sign up for. Kill one and see.

Nemeses

Die to a monster out in the open world and it might remember you. It becomes a nemesis: it gains a rank, a bit more size and health, and a trait or two, like healing itself while it is hurt or hitting harder once it is low. The zone hears about it, and the whole server hears when one reaches rank 5. Every player it kills after that can rank it up again. Dungeon bosses, world bosses and anything inside an instance never turn into one.

The last player it killed, and anyone in their party, gets a revenge reward for bringing it down: 1 gold, plus 25 silver for each rank above the first. Anyone else collects the bounty instead, 25 silver plus 5 silver a rank. Both pay up to double if you are lower level than it, less if you are higher, and nothing if you are ten or more levels above it. A nemesis that goes two days without killing anyone is forgotten.
